Privacy Policy

Impacto is an influencer marketing agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We source, vet, and manage creator campaigns for food and beverage (F&B) brands and restaurants across the UAE.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, or work with us—whether as a brand, a creator, or a website visitor—and how we use, share, and protect that information.

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

01 Information We Collect

We collect information from a few different groups, depending on how you interact with us.

From brands and restaurants

When you contact us, submit a form, book a call, or work with us as a client, we may collect:

  • Your name and job title
  • Business or brand name
  • Email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number
  • Instagram or other social media handles
  • Details you choose to share about your restaurant, campaign goals, or budget

From creators and influencers

If you apply to work with us, or if we evaluate you for a campaign, we may collect:

  • Your social media handles and profile links
  • Audience, reach, and engagement data
  • Content samples and past collaboration examples
  • Location, spoken languages, and nationality (used to match you to relevant campaigns)
  • Contact details such as email, phone, or WhatsApp

Information from public and third-party sources

To match brands with suitable creators, we compile and analyse information that is publicly available on social media platforms—such as public profiles, posts, follower counts, and engagement metrics—and information provided by third-party data and analytics providers. We use this to build and maintain our creator database and to shortlist creators for our clients.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect limited technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and device type
  • Pages visited and referring pages
  • Time spent on the website

This helps us understand how visitors use our site and improve the experience.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate our business and deliver our services. This includes:

  • Responding to inquiries and communicating with you
  • Evaluating and shortlisting creators for campaigns
  • Matching brands with relevant creators
  • Planning, running, and reporting on campaigns for our clients
  • Maintaining and improving our creator database
  • Improving our website and understanding how it is used
  • Keeping internal records and meeting legal obligations
  • Sharing occasional updates about our services (you can opt out at any time)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

03 How We Share Information

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers — trusted partners who help us operate, such as hosting, database, analytics, communication, and CRM providers, and influencer analytics tools. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

Clients — when relevant to a campaign, we may share creator performance and campaign data with the brand we are working for.

Legal authorities — where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

Business transfers — if Impacto is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

04 WhatsApp and Communications

We use WhatsApp and email as primary channels to communicate with brands and creators. If you contact us through WhatsApp or start a conversation using a link on our website, your message and phone number are shared with us so we can respond. WhatsApp processes messages under its own privacy policy.

We cannot guarantee the security of communications sent over the internet or messaging platforms, though we follow accepted practices to protect them.

05 Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors interact with our pages, analyse traffic, and improve performance. This information is generally collected on an aggregate basis and is not used to personally identify you.

Most browsers let you manage or disable cookies through their settings. Some parts of the website may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

06 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we collect and store. However, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

07 Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain our records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.

08 Your Rights

Depending on your location, and in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request that inaccurate information be corrected

  • Your full name
  • The email address, phone number, or social media handle associated with your information
  • A clear description of your request

We will respond within a reasonable period and either confirm the action taken or explain why we are unable to fulfil your request.

10 Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. Creators we work with must be 18 or older. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete it.
